You Can See Everything is the most slippery, down the rabbit hole doc I’ve ever seen. It starts as a hypnotic cat and mouse game between two manipulators trying to get something elusive or inexplicable (like if Nixon’s last days in office were documented by Andy Kaufman) 1/2
Ahead of its season 29 premiere, the show formerly known as @southpark officially changed its name.
In a statement from series creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker:
“Inspired by the bravery and patriotism of Apple and Google, we are changing the name of South Park to SOUTH AMERICA. We especially want to thank our parent company Paramount -- a Skydance Capitulation.”
There’s a clear choice for the new theme song 🇺🇸
Deadlier than ever 🩸

Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz’s New Mummy Movie Will ‘Push PG-13 Boundaries’
Radio Silence Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett exclusively chat with us The Mummy 4 and revisiting the stars' “lovely chemistry.”
“We want to push that PG-13 rating, because that’s how the first movie was for us,” Gillett smiles. “It had all of the fun action-adventure flavors but it also wasn’t afraid to be scary and cut away right at the nick of time. So bringing our genre sensibility into that has already been just really fun. There’s a level of magic and mythology that has created a lot of opportunities to do fun things.”

Seth Rogen Says New Sundance Hit Is The Kind of Movie That Terrifies His Studio Character
“He would probably be too cowardly to make a film like this,” Seth Rogen tells Den of Geek. “He would like to think he would make a movie like this, but at the end of the day, he probably would not.”

Congrats to Paul Thomas Anderson's One Battle After Another picking up #CriticsChoiceAwards for Picture, Director, and Adapted Screenplay. Last year Leonardo DiCaprio explained to us how his father remains an influence on picking roles, including this film:
"My father, he’s kind of the ultimate source of wisdom for me, and not just his intelligence, but his perception and his ability to look at a certain subject matter through different lenses. I oftentimes still read scripts with him and ask him his thoughts, because he’s got such a unique perspective.”

A big congrats to Jacob Elordi on his #CriticsChoice Award for Frankenstein! We spoke with the actor last year about the role when he said, "It’s impossible for the Creature to exist without his father to me, which is also me with my Dad. That’s all of us with our fathers.”

We chatted with Marty Supreme screenwriter and producer Ronald Bronstein about exploring the American dream at "its most extreme, dangerous version of itself." denofgeek.com/movies/marty-s…
“To me, it’s [about] the America that emerges as victors after World War II, and all of this political rhetoric from that era which just insists on the greatness of the country, and that greatness is predicated on individual initiative and personal freedom. I was like, ‘Wow, I see Marty as a sort of inflamed, Kabuki Theater version of that rhetoric.’”

Milly Alcock on the difference between Supergirl and Superman:
“She’s like an unapologetic mess. She doesn’t want to be a hero, and I really admire that about her. I think Clark puts on a mask in his everyday life, and Kara won’t submit to that. I find that really admirable.”

My debut piece on the @DenofGeekUS website is about @JohnCena, how we got to this point of his retirement from @WWE. It was great to be able to use so much from my archives and previous interviews with him. Check it out here: denofgeek.com/culture/john-c…
If you're wondering what music Supergirl is grooving to in the new trailer, Milly Alcock and Craig Gillespie reveal to us what would be on Kara's Spotify Unwrapped Playlist:
“It runs the gamut. I think it would go from Black Sabbath to Blondie. We just put in this very indie band she’s listening to at one point, SKORTS [and the song “Bodies”]. It’s all over the map.” - Craig Gillespie
“That’s such a good question! The B-52s, song ["Roam"]!" - Milly Alcock
