My first knee replacement I died two times. They didn’t bend my knee for several days. I was in a coma. They did NOTHING to help me. This was Wuesthoff hospital in Rockledge. The same hospital that ALSO gave me MRSA years before with a hip replacement.
I am STILL in pain. I have dealt with this for many many years now, putting on weight because it hurts to move. The knee kicks out sideways when I try to peddle. You can’t put weight on it when on your knees. I know you’re supposed to be able to do it, because guess what? The right knee was replaced too. It’s AWESOME! I can do ANYTHING with it!
But everyone thinks I’m fat and lazy. And YES in fact they WILL blame my weight.
What I wonder? The bad knee is the same knee as the MRSA hip. I darn near died with the MRSA too. I went gray. I had to receive antibiotics infused, my spouse had to learn to give it to me.
In reading about this and how and why it still hurts? It read infection, amongst other things….
The doctor KNEW everything he even manipulated it, and it STILL didn’t bend right.
I want it fixed so I can go where I want and do what I want!
I want the weight gone along with the pain.
And I want you judgmental people to stop ASSuming.
You don’t know me. You don’t know the pain I’m in. Stop pointing at me, making fun of my weight. Try on my shoes I dare you.
