We are publicly asking @SeattlePD and @GovBobFerguson to consider reopening the Kurt Cobain case.
In 1994, authorities publicly characterized Cobainโs death as self-inflicted before a full forensic analysis could be completed.
In 2005, then-SPD Chief Gil Kerlikowske asked former Capt. Neil Low to audit the case. Low was given full access to the case file and concluded the evidence pointed to a homicide and that the case should be reopened. In response, the SPD did nothing.
In 2025, a multidisciplinary team published a peer-reviewed study in the International Journal of Forensic Sciences concluding that its analysis of the publicly available evidence was inconsistent with a self-inflicted death and supported homicide. In response, the SPD did nothing.

Okay so I was sleeping and Iโm not entirely sure what it was, but at 3 AM this morning something woke me up. I heard a noise, felt the Tesla moving, and honestly got really scared for a second.
I looked for a few seconds and saw kids messing with the charging plug. I opened the window and asked them what they were doing โ and of course this is exactly what the best car in the world captured on camera.
Thereโs no system like this in the world, and no car like this either.

I never thought this would happen to me. Caught on Tesla dashcam today (July 6) around 5:18pm in the Lower East Side.
She walked straight up to my parked white Tesla at 171 E Broadway, tore the plate straight off, then casually walked awayโฆ and later strolled right back past the spot like nothing happened.
