Happy Birthday 🎈 William Morris, Kelmscott school is named for his famous press in Hammersmith which sought to revive 15th century printing techniques on hand presses with handmade paper.
Celebrating the birthday of William Morris, born on this day in 1834. He played a central role in the Arts and Crafts Movement, championing the value of handmade craftsmanship at a time when the Victorian era was defined by industrial progress.

Our wonderful technician has been taking the ink drawing club this year and she made these lovely cards for the students on which she pinned the mini pencil badges I made for them as an award @KelmscottSchool - so special! I hope they love them! #artteaching #inktober and beyond
