Modal Series Auction Details TLDR: You will recieve a percentage of pieces equal to the percentage of total bids for which your funds account. Anyone can bid, but server roles have advantage. + 24hrs Starting Today (6pm ET Tues - 6pm ET Wed) + Takes place fully on Modal site (link in bio) + No collabs, whitelist, or mint phases + Funds weighted by Discord roles, so join and don't be a bot + Payable in ETH, SOL, USDC [on either] and BTC + Requires recieiving taproot wallet (they are ordinals inscriptions) ──────────── There are 511 pieces in total across the nine subseries in this collection, w/460 being auctioned. 51 will be withheld to populate a treasury for marketing, placements and [mostly] treasury swaps. More on treasury swaps later. All funds logged in BTC terms as they roll in so that the auction can be properly denominated in BTC. Funds can have weight multipliers added based on Discord roles, but you have to connect Discord for this feature to work. It's up to 25% or 1.25x. We will not show your Discord name in the leaderboard or bid reel, just the first and last of your incomplete taproot address so you can see where you stand. ──────────── This batch auction works as follows- If the ending total bids recieved equal $4,600 and there are 460 pieces, the closing price is $10. In this case: + If you've sent $105 without weight, you'll recieve 10 pieces and $5 back (potentially minus chain fees). +If you've sent $100 +25% weight, you have an effective bid of $125. You'll recieve 12 pieces, but no refund, as the final $5 in this case is weight and not funds. + If you bid $6, you'll be given a refund (potentially minus chain fees) for being under the closing price. You'll be able to view your projected allocation live as the bids progress and see a leaderboard during the live auction. Pieces will be airdropped randomly to the winning taproot addresses within 24-48hrs of auction close. ──────────── Thanks in advance to anyone participating or even just spectating. I'm really excited to share this, and excited to test this new mechanism of distribution. I think it solves a lot of common problems we have in this space. Let's see how it works.
