Why did I take this trade?
I call this the Demon A+ Set Up:
- As you can see on my chart below, the premarket high on QQQ was $494.05 (the pink line). I waited for the break and retest of this level.
- Straight at market open we tested the level, and broke through it. In the 3rd 5 minute candle, you can see that we retested the level by coming below it, and having a strong bounce back above the level.
- At the same time, QQQ bounced from VWAP and broke above the 8EMA. This is another confirmation for me to go long.
- I was also looking at large tech stocks, such as $NVDA which was looking very strong at the open and a huge bounce from $TSLA after the big dip from the open.
TLDR:
- Premarket high break
- VWAP bounce
- 8EMA Break
- Strong tech stocks
