"For those of you who don't know, after 9/11 when George W. Bush was President, we passed a law called the American Service-Members' Protection Act. This Act is also known as the 'Invasion of the Hague Act.' Do you want to know why it's called the 'Invasion of the Hague Act'?
It's because the law basically states that if any American, or any American ally, ally being the key point here, is ever prosecuted for war crimes and there is a demand an American or American ally to the Netherlands, where the Hague is, we will invade the country.

Once again, Trump says the silent part out loud: The US's attack on the ICC is not to defend Trump or American soldiers, but to defend Netanyahu and Israeli officials accused of war crimes.
Thus, the US is once again going to war with international law to defend Netanyahu and Israeli crimes, and by doing so, sacrificing the US's own global standing and its own interests for the sake of Israel.
