I met with Dr Sania Nishtar, CEO of Gavi, at its Geneva headquarters. We discussed our partnership’s achievements: expanded immunisation, life-saving vaccines and better access to health services in underserved communities.
I welcomed Gavi’s increased allocation to Sierra Leone under Gavi 6.0 and reaffirmed my commitment to childhood immunisation, vaccine equity and sustainable global health financing.

Less so for child survival - 14%. BUT...
If @mohs_sl dropped PCV doses from 3 to 2, which they are eligible to do, & used savings to introduce maternal #RSV vaccine not only would child deaths drop, but so would hospitalization costs.
