Obama just released a statement supporting Ilhan Omar & accusing the Trump administration of “targeting political opponents.” He is calling her a “law abiding citizen.” She is absolutely entitled to a presumption of innocence, but this is breathtaking hypocrisy & it is projection from the guy who conspired to target Trump, undo the result of the 2016 Presidential election, & actually attempt a coup de etat against the newly elected President with the Russian Collusion hoax. In my soon to be released book Framed F****d & Freed, I discuss in detail Obama’s role in sending, & keeping, me in prison for 8 for years for conversations he began-conversations the Appeals Court would later reverse calling them “nothing more than routine political log rolling.” One day the whole truth will come out & history will record that NO PRESIDENT HAS DONE MORE TO DESTROY THE CONSTITUTION THAN BARACK OBAMA.

Obama: It's a "basic principe of democracy" to not prosecute the other party 🤡
🤖 Made with AI
It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically.
Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country.
Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case.
Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve.
In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota.
The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.

Barack Obama weaponized the federal government like no president ever has.
If Ilhan Omar broke immigration laws, she shouldn't get a pass.
And let's not forget: The Obama-started Russiagate hoax was exactly that: a hoax.

What is it with these pathetic socialists...Talarico goes missing for two weeks, Nithya Raman blacked out in a friendly debate with zero hard questions? These people are so weak, they go into a "fugue state" at the slightest bit of pressure...and you think this lady can run LA?

I ran for mayor because I couldn’t accept the homelessness I saw on our streets. Since then, we’ve reduced homelessness by 11%, cut veteran homelessness by 50%, and brought homicides to a 60-year low.
With the Olympics coming to Los Angeles, we need leadership that delivers. I’m committed to building on this progress so our city is ready—and Angelenos see lasting benefits.

.@SenWarren Your Trumpflation Tracker says inflation cost households $3,388 over 20 months.
I applied your own methodology to Biden using BLS seasonally adjusted CPI and the lower 2020 household spending baseline of $61,334.
Result: approximately $31,321 in cumulative additional costs over 48 months.
By December 2024, the same basket cost about $13,004 more annually.
Where’s your Bidenflation Tracker?
Same accounting standards, regardless of who’s president.
The average American household is paying about $3,388 more due to inflation under Trump.
That could have gone toward college savings, a new car, or a nice vacation.
But rent, utilities, gas, and groceries are all up because of Trump’s policies.
Denmark's Foreign Minister Lars Løkke says Trump's deal for 300,000 tons of Russian diesel is 'regrettable' because it gives Russia revenue.
The EU bought 12.18 MILLION tonnes of Russian LNG this year alone, about €7.9 billion.
That's 40 times more. Maybe start at home, Lars.

Socialism is the high school group project. You do all the work, as your teammates wank off. Because you are responsible, you pull all-nighters to get it done, then they all get the same grade as you. Now multiply that by a billion and the teacher has a gun. That's socialism.
THEO VON: “Will you define socialism for us?”
MAMDANI: “Socialism, to me, means that you will have WHATEVER YOU NEED to live a dignified life, and that it is the GOVERNMENT’S JOB to deliver on that.”
I’ve heard a line like that before. It came from a famous book, and it was describing the highest stage of communism.
