24. Star Wars fan (Ugh). Primarily talks about the Sequels and the Dyad. Does enjoy the space wizards kissing. Enjoys it a lot actually.

☯️ Dyad Parallels ☯️ Hi 🙋 this is a thread showing off some of the parallels between Rey and Ben Solo/Kylo Ren from the Films and Comics. If I've missed any? Let me know and I'll add them or a link to the thread 🙂

Speaking of #TheHuntForBenSolo I’m incredibly proud to present Ben’s Redemption, my Japanese-inspired spin on a Ben Solo helmet concept that reimagines the Kylo Ren helmet as a seasoned warrior’s relic, infused with genuine 24kt gold. #StarWars #cosplay #Disney #Propmaking

" He acknowledged her, and Rey’s lips parted in surprise. It felt different now. The connection was…right. Good. Like coming home. Ben was similarly stunned, and together, they wasted a precious moment reveling in this new sharing. This is how it should have been all along. "

Ready to die for each other 🥲 “I gave him some of my life. In that moment I would have given him all of it…died if I had to.” Ben poured everything into her. He found reservoirs he didn’t know he had. He gave her his whole self. - TROS Novelization

Okay so whilst I was away I just completely missed Legacy of Vader Comic series lol. I seen people mention it but just though he had an issue or two in a Vader run. Is it worth the read?

She drew on Ben’s strength, and he drew on hers, and just like before, they were separate but also together, Rey battling guards, Ben battling the Knights. 𝘉𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶, she warned, and he brought up his saber to block his back. - The Rise of Skywalker Novelization

Other than coming back to the news of a denied Ben Solo movie, the pain of returning and clicking on all the bookmarks i have of my favourite artists and finding their accounts deleted is heartwrenching...

And I totally get it btw... this place has changed so much since I remember being active in the fandom that those artists are totally within their rights. But i'm still sad about it, I just hope they all still know so many of us enjoyed their art ❤️

We won't know if this snowballs big enough yet, but the name dropping of two high up people in Disney with a leadership change imminent is very funny. You wonder wheter this could force Bobs hand in an effort to preserve Alans promotion. Or risk potential unrest from shareholders

The timing is quite insane. Either the NDAs just ran out and Adam/Steven couldn't wait to talk about it. Or the NDAs expired a while ago and this was a calculated moment to put pressure on. With TFA 10th anniversary this year, socials are going to be hammered by the fan campaigns

At the end of the day, whether the movie is made or not this fandom picked itself back up in 2020 and wrote thousands of adventures carrying on these characters stories when Disney dropped the ball. Would it be nice to get a real one? Absolutely! But the fandom endured regardless

I think its hilarious that so many projects for Disney Star Wars have been through development hell yet they were handed a film on a silver platter ready to go and all they had to do was say yes. But instead they still continue with difficult projects and cancelling current ones.
