An 11-year-old boy in Kentucky has been hailed as a hero for RESCUING a man who was drowning and unconscious at the bottom of a pool.
His name is Avory Woolery, he is ELEVEN years old.
According to Avory, the adults around the pool weren't doing anything, so he put on his goggles, dove down, and pulled a grown man up out of the water.
"No one was doing anything, so I put on my goggles. I went underwater. I grabbed him up. There was no way that I was going to let another man die today. He's a human being. He should be treated as such."
In August, Kentucky lawmakers gave him a citation of achievement and he got to meet the governor.
The kid's response?
"Try and be the best person you can be whenever someone is in danger or someone just needs a friend,"
WHAT AN ABSOLUTE HERO!!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Beloved Wrestling Legend Edge Has Announced His Retirement After 32 Years 🥲👋
Adam Copeland (Edge) already had one career taken away from him. This time, he gets to choose how the story ends.
The wrestling legend has announced that 2027 will be his final year in professional wrestling, saying he can feel himself “aging out” of the business and knows the finish line is getting closer. The announcement came after he qualified for AEW’s Clockwork Carnage match at WrestleDream.
For Copeland, retirement carries extra weight. A serious neck condition forced him to walk away in 2011, seemingly ending his career for good. Then, against the odds, he returned to the ring in 2020 and was given years of wrestling he once thought he had lost.
Now at 52, he has one major goal left: becoming AEW World Champion before he calls it a career.
He already came back from an ending once. In 2027, Adam Copeland finally gets to write his own.

In 1986, a five-year-old boy in India fell asleep on a railway station bench while waiting for his older brother. His brother never returned.
The boy, thinking his brother might be inside, climbed into an empty train compartment to look for him. There, he fell asleep again. When he woke up, the doors were locked and the train was moving. The train didn’t stop for nearly two days. When it finally did, he had reached Kolkata — about 1,500 kilometers away from his home. He was so young that he didn’t know his full name, couldn’t read, and couldn’t even tell the name of his village.
For several weeks, he wandered alone on the streets. He slept under railway station benches and survived on whatever little food he could find. Eventually, he was taken to an orphanage and declared a “missing child.” No one could figure out where he had come from
After some time, a couple from Tasmania, Australia, adopted him. They gave him a loving home, and he began a new life. His name became Saroo Brierley, and he grew up on the other side of the world.
But he never forgot his past. He had some faint memories — a bridge near a railway station, a water tower, the layout of his neighborhood, and the faces of his family.
When he was about 25 years old, he learned about Google Earth. He estimated how far a train could have traveled and created a radius around Kolkata, then began searching towns along railway lines in that area. For weeks, he spent around 30 hours each week studying satellite images, trying to find something familiar. Even his Australian family didn’t know what he was doing — they thought he was just browsing the internet.
Finally, in 2011, after years of effort, he found the place — a water tower, a bridge, and a ditch near the station. The location was Ganesh Talai area in the city of Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. He zoomed in and recognized the streets where he had once walked as a child.
He came to India and, wandering through the streets of that town, eventually reached his home. The door was closed, and he feared that everything might be lost. Then some people came out and took him to a woman.
She was his mother. She had never stopped searching for her son for 25 years. After all those years, they stood face to face again
He later learned that the brother he had been waiting for that night had died after being hit by a train. His mother had searched for both her sons for 25 years — she learned the truth about one, but never lost hope for the other.
His story was later written in the book A Long Way Home, and it was adapted into the film Lion, which received six Oscar nominations
Famed soprano Martina Arroyo has died. She was 90.
With her luminous voice and ease on stage, the Harlem native broke barriers as one of the first major Black opera stars in the 1960s and 1970s.
She was also familiar to the nation's TV viewers at the time as a frequent guest on Johnny Carson's "Tonight Show."
In 2013, she was honored by the Kennedy Center, just one of her many awards.
Arroyo announced her retirement in 1989 and devoted herself to teaching.

A 5-year-old girl plunged 49 feet from a moving cruise ship into the open ocean. Her father heard his wife screaming and raced toward the railing, only to discover that their daughter was gone.
It happened aboard the Disney Dream near the Bahamas, where a family vacation took a terrifying turn when the little girl fell from the ship’s fourth deck.
When her father realized what had happened, he jumped overboard after her, plunging nearly 50 feet into the ocean. But when he surfaced, he couldn’t see his daughter anywhere.
He began desperately calling out for her, searching the water until he finally heard her calling back. He swam toward her and managed to reach her, but they were still stranded in the open ocean as the massive cruise ship began turning around.
For roughly 20 minutes, he kept his little girl afloat, holding her above the water until a rescue boat finally reached them and brought them back to safety.
Both survived, although the father suffered two fractures in his spine from the fall.
It takes an incredible amount of courage to jump nearly 50 feet into the open ocean, not knowing what awaits you below. But this father didn’t hesitate to put his own life on the line for his little girl. Thank God they both made it home.

A 5-year-old boy saw his grandma collapse on the floor and not get up...
...so he took his 3-year-old little sister by the hand, ran down a gravel road looking for help, flagged down a truck, and SAVED HIS NANA’S LIFE!!!
His name is Hudson Tenn, he’s FIVE years old, from Cottrellville Township, Michigan.
This past summer, Hudson and his little sister Harper were home with their grandma, Terri.
...then something went terribly wrong.
Hudson: “Nana was shaking honestly and then she fell down and didn’t get back up.”
She was unconscious.
So, what did a 5-year-old do in that moment?
Hudson went looking for Nana’s car keys... so he could DRIVE for help. 😂
“I tried getting the keys to take her car but couldn’t find them so I ran down the street.”
So he grabbed his little sister and headed out, the two of them walked down a gravel road, almost straight through the woods.
That’s when neighbors Jason Markel and his son Colton spotted them and pulled over.
Before Hudson flagged them down, he made sure his 3-year-old sister was SAFE first.
Colton: “When he flagged us down he put his sister on the side of the road first!”
FIVE. YEARS. OLD.
The Markels called 911 right away and hudson climbed in the truck and directed them straight back to the house.
Jason looked through the door and saw Terri lying on the floor, unconscious.
Then St. Clair County Sheriff’s deputies arrived. One of the family dogs was crouched over Terri, protecting her, so deputies had to safely move the dog to another room before EMS could get to work.
Terri was rushed to the hospital and I'm happy to say that today she is OKAY!!! ❤️
Jason says he doesn’t know what would have happened if those kids had to walk all the way to the main road.
Terri knows exactly who to thank.
“I think it was all God. He put the right people there at the right time.”
And about her grandson?
“He’s my hero, what 5-year-old would’ve thought to do what he did? And he did!”
On Wednesday, township officials and the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office presented Hudson with an AWARD FOR BRAVERY.
GOD BLESS Hudson Tenn and GOD BLESS the Markels.
THIS IS THE AMERICA I KNOW!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Dan Miller has been the voice of the Detroit Lions on the radio since 2005.
He was in the booth for all 16 losses in 2008, and for the win that finally ended the 19 game losing streak.
On Saturday his wife of 33 years passed away. On Sunday Dan Campbell gave him the game ball.
Here is who they are.
He grew up in Northern Virginia and went to George Mason University for broadcast journalism.
While he was still in school he worked as an engineer at two radio stations. He did that for 11 years.
He got his first television job in 1994, hosting a pre game show in Washington. For the three years after that he called regional games for NFL on Fox.
In 1997 he moved to Detroit to be the sports director at Fox 2, and he has been on television there ever since. Twenty nine years. He still hosts a weekly show there called Sports Works.
In 2005 the Lions handed him the radio microphone.
Think about what he had to describe.
In 2008 the Lions lost all sixteen games. Nobody in the history of the National Football League had ever done that.
He called every one of them. Then he called the game in 2009 that ended a 19 game losing streak.
Now here is his wife.
Her name was Cynthia. Everyone called her Cindy.
They met when she was working at the Westwood One Radio Network. He was a broadcaster and so was the room she was in.
She graduated from the University of Maryland in 1985. She was a news producer for ten years. Then she spent five years teaching preschool.
Her obituary says she had "a way of lighting up any room she entered." It calls her charismatic, funny and fearless.
She was 63.
On Sunday Dan Miller was not in the booth. Jason Benetti filled in, and on the air he called Dan "a fantastic voice of the Lions for more than two decades."
Detroit beat the Arizona Cardinals 45 to 21.
Then Dan Campbell walked into the press conference holding a football, and he could not get through it.
"Dan is salt of the earth."
He said the ball goes to Dan Miller and his family.
"We love you, Dan. Appreciate you."
Jared Goff was on television a few minutes later, fighting it back too.
"His voice is Lions football."
"We're thinking about you, Dan. Love you, man."
Goff says he talks to him every week.
The family has asked that anything people want to give go to the Leptomeningeal Cancer Foundation in Cindy's name.
For 21 years Dan Miller has told the city of Detroit what was happening to its football team.
On Sunday the team stopped and told him something.

He was on fire — and he kept going back in.
On October 17, 2005, near Samarra, Iraq, Sergeant First Class Alwyn C. Cashe's Bradley Fighting Vehicle hit an IED and erupted into flames.
He escaped. He could have stayed out.
Instead, covered in fuel and burning alive, he ran back into that inferno. Again and again and again.
He pulled six soldiers and an Iraqi interpreter out of the burning Bradley, one by one. As his uniform melted to his skin. As the flames consumed him.
By the time everyone was safe, 72% of his body was burned.
At the field hospital, barely able to speak, his first words weren't about himself. He asked:
"How are my boys?"
He held on for three weeks. He died on November 8, 2005.
It took 16 years for his country to give him what he had earned that day.
On December 16, 2021, Sergeant First Class Alwyn C. Cashe was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor.
HIS NAME IS SERGEANT FIRST CLASS ALWYN C. CASHE. NEVER FORGET.
