♥️ Definition of love for a sport: Fernando Alonso hasn't won a race in over 13 years. Right now he's driving a green tractor, and yet he has decided to stay in Formula 1 at the age of, at least, 46

Max Verstappen said on the @MattP1Tommy podcast that this overtake on Oscar Piastri from Imola last year is his favourite overtake of his career. “I think no one saw that coming.”

NO IMPORTA. Perjudica al resto del GP porque revela demasiadas cosas" 📺 @MattP1Gallagher | YouTube

😶 It had been 197 days since Russell had been faster than Antonelli on our H2H race pace in clean air – exactly since the Chinese Grand Prix 🇨🇳

📊 Clean Air Pace Analysis – Methodology (2026) 🔍 768 laps reviewed individually for this analysis ⛽ Fuel discount (0,041s) and track improvements (0,027s): 0.0687s/lap 🇦🇿 ✍️ Notes: - For Racing Bulls, the gap may be affected by the difference in tyre compounds, as the soft tyre was better - At Haas, Ocon was not using the new Ferrari engine specification - At Cadillac, Bottas was not using the new Ferrari engine specification - Just 2 sample laps for AM 🔬 Methodology for the 2026 season Based on the experience gained from previous seasons, and taking into account the circumstances created by the new regulations, the methodology has been revised for 2026. For this season, in addition to using each driver’s clean-air laps, the sample may also include laps completed in traffic when appropriate, provided their lap times remain broadly in line with what they would have been in clean air. This is done to obtain a more representative final figure. A track evolution factor has also been introduced, improving the comparison between laps completed at different stages of the race. Every lap completed by each driver is analysed individually to remove those that are not representative, including traffic, unusual laps, off-track moments, pit stops, unlapping laps, etc. This also applies to laps completed in clean air that are deemed unrepresentative for any other reason. Once this filtering process is complete, the sample is analysed team by team to find the fairest possible comparison, matching the number of laps, degradation, timing within the race and tyre compounds wherever possible. When this cannot be achieved, the best possible approach is used to extract a representative figure rather than simply declaring the comparison void. Laps marked with a grid are estimated links, calculated from the average of the representative laps at either end of that driver’s sample. They are used to equalise the comparison and minimise the removal of representative laps solely for compensation purposes. ⚖️ Weighting of each Grand Prix in the final comparison For the 2026 season, not every race will contribute equally to the final comparison of team-mate pace. Instead, the weighting of each Grand Prix will depend on the size and quality of the available sample. This means that races with larger and more reliable samples will have a greater impact on the overall season result. Infinite thanks to @rekii_dzn for making this possible🧑‍🎨

The H2H (Head-to-Head) metric is used to calculate how many times a driver has outperformed their team-mate, whilst seeking to eliminate external factors that might skew the comparison. Unlike official statistics, this system is not based solely on the final result of the session. Instead, each session is analysed individually, taking into account the different circumstances and situations experienced by both drivers throughout the weekend. All external factors such as poor pit stops, mechanical failures, strategic disadvantages, damage, traffic, qualifying sessions compromised by external circumstances or any other relevant incident are carefully reviewed in order to provide the fairest and most representative comparison possible. In the event that external factors are present but there is prior evidence that one driver has performed better than their teammate, the duel will be deemed valid. A grey X indicates that there is insufficient data to provide a reliable comparison. A yellow X means that there is sufficient data, but the duel is considered too close to call, and is therefore classified as a draw.

Ocon’s strong performance may come as a surprise, but the reality is that since the change to the chassis and brakes introduced on his cars several Grands Prix ago, Esteban’s performance has improved considerably He’s shown great pace this weekend, even though he still doesn’t have the new Ferrari engine upgrade
