I went to Synagogue to honour passing of my late grandmother, joining my community for a Shabbat service led by one of our senior members & a talented teen.
This is what we see when we enter. While we appreciate the increased police presence it's sad that we need police protection for the simplest acts of honouring our family and practicing our faith
Today marks the third anniversary of October 7. Since that date three years ago, numerous criminal acts and acts of harassment have been committed against Jews and their property in Ontario. I think the Ontario government has much more to do 1/n
I think the right to attend your church, mosque or synagogue without interference or intimidation is paramount to the right to protest or assemble wherever you want. Creation of buffer zones wouldn’t take away the right to protest but would be a reasonable limitation 3/n
on that right. @fordnation’s tweets about antisemitism are fine but not enough. All places of worship, residential neighbourhoods, and adequate areas around them should be off limits to protests. If legislation to achieve this requires the notwithstanding clause, so be it. 4/4
At a sports bar in Peterborough. Asked if they have ESPN.
“What do you want to watch?” “Carolina Hurricanes v. Florida Panthers.” “Is that football?”
I think Canadians are entitled to have the suspension of Mr. Herland investigated by a House of Commons committee. Sworn evidence. Production of documents. Maybe the matter is complicated. Maybe it isn’t. Let’s find out.

This happened in Toronto yesterday outside quiet Yom Kippur prayer services.
By allowing anti-Jewish harassment to target every Jewish gathering, including prayer services, the Canadian authorities have created the current situation where violence against Jews is increasingly pervasive.
This is freedom to harass and terrorize Jews, not freedom of speech.
The Saskatoon Police have identified a suspect in the recent case of a man egging a synagogue and damaging cars in its parking lot. A 31 year old man has been charged with three counts of mischief under $5,000 and released on conditions. saskatoonpolice.ca/news/2026…
France v. Spain starts at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time today. The predicted temperature, adjusted for humidity, where I am is 107.6°F at 3 o’clock. I’ll be in an air-conditioned sports bar if you need me for anything.

To whomever it may concern, we would like a retroactive review of Mathías Laborda’s red card on October 18, 2025.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Thanks and respect for the OPP officer who pursued and stopped a white Tesla at 5:02 p.m. this evening. The Tesla was westbound on the 401 about 13 kms east of Odessa. The Tesla driver was speeding and treating other vehicles like gates on a slalom course in a ski race. @OPP_News
