Hi friends!
A good friend of mine launched his top surgery fundraiser today. Please donate if you're able:

Happy Labor Day. I'm uninstalling this today, 15 years since I joined.
No amount of appeasement will ever make this place's owner happy because he will never know true contentment, at least not until he divests of all his wealth and knows his right place in the universe.

I love Twitter because half of you are like “you need to RUN” and the other half are like “wait, could the forest demon help me sleep too?”
Lay worship leaders can and should be trained to lead daily office both so that it can be offered regularly on non-Sundays and so that they are equipped to lead MP on Sundays as needed.
Agatha Christie is so my people.
A truth about me is that if I have a problem, I'm probably going to research about it.
Having traditional femininity and cisheteropatriarchal gender roles shoved down my throat by everybody and their sister made my PPD way worse, but it also made me reckon with gender stuff in a way I hadn't yet, which led to me coming out trans.
Anyway, we know the T€RFs are wrong about biology because their whole paradigm is based on an oversimplified grade school understanding thereof, but also, if you want gender nonconforming AFABs to "stay on your team" maybe make it suck less to be a gender nonconforming parent.

Cities shouldn’t rely on Taylor Swift for their economic health. Events like The Eras Tour happen once in a blue moon and don’t put a dent in the debt that a stadium brings to a city. Wealth generated from a one-time concert isn’t lasting. When the tour leaves, so does the money.

The Church Fathers were overwhelmingly against the notion of private property because of their theology, i.e. the earth was the Lord's, when wealthy people possessed land they used it to exploit/oppress the poor, therefore private property was stealing from humans and God. +

What I’m learning from Barbie and the Taylor Swift tour is that women want to get dressed up and go places and have fun and men are invited but if they’re going to be a drag they can stay home, and that makes some men VERY angry.

3rd horseman is commonly called Famine, but he specifically does NOT blight crops, does not damage food. His weapon is the scales, and "destroys" not by weather or worm, but market manipulation.
A closer name might be "Inflation" or "Capital" or "Bread Fixing" or "Galen Weston."
Because if there's anything the movie demonstrated about Allan (tiny spoiler), it's that he's willing to go to bat (literally) to support his lady friends living their best lives.
