This is the same method used to turn a lot of us into social media zombies, obsessed with posting, and earning money in that manner.
It’s called “I want to make you dependent on my company. I want you to need the success of my business, because you are financially dependent on it to survive. And I can turn it off whenever I want. You are my indentured servants.”
Do you know what’s next? Anthropic and all the other companies with big AI models will replace the government. Not because they took the gov over, but because the public became financially dependent on the AI companies, and also capitulated their decision making to ChatGPT, Claude, and the rest of the idiotic “AI Agents.” The public will simply start obeying the AI systems because they financially and emotionally and intellectually rely on them.
It’s pretty serious. Our systems and our government will be usurped by tech bros running tech companies. And we will have zero representation. We will be indentured slaves.

Watching that Tesla demo made me think of Elon Musk's time in government. Can you even imagine his frustration? He had earlier taken over Twitter, fired 4 in 5 employees, and transformed the thing into the world's most powerful news app that is now in the processing of reinventing money transfer and banking. Tesla just made the flying rocket car real. The idea that he wants anything to do with the reactionary pillaging, poisoning, and devaluation scheme called government is preposterous. Hawaii's state auditor just dropped a bomb on Democrat Gov. Josh Green's signature kauhale tiny-home program. More than $13.7 million in unauthorized, unsupported, or questionable payments went to a no-bid contractor called HomeAid Hawaiʻi. Green's people used emergency proclamations to ditch normal procurement rules, then rubber-stamped every reimbursement the auditors looked at.
That nonprofit exploded from one employee and about $235,000 in revenue to nearly $143 million in two years, almost all from the state. Projects got built with fewer homes than the contracts promised, and taxpayers still paid nearly the full amount. They expensed conferences, first-class flights, alcohol, marketing T-shirts, and about $80,000 for a Maui ocean-view condo.
The punchline? A Las Vegas hotel billed "intimacy kits." The audit says those kits included condoms, lubricant, vibrators, restraints, an eye mask, and a feather tickler. On the homelessness tab.
Green says the villages are "working" and they're clawing back a few hundred thousand. That is not accountability. That is damage control after the auditor caught them treating your money like a party fund.
If this is how Democrats run an "emergency," America needs a lot fewer emergencies.
