It's long past time for editorial boards across the U.S. to call for Trump to: (1) resign; (2) be removed via the 25th Am; and (3) to be impeached. They don't have to choose which way he should be removed, but they must explicitly argue that he cannot be allowed to remain POTUS.

Thick as
Trump: I'm waiting for accolades from the press, and they said, 'what about the cost of beef?' Boeuf? You know what boeuf is? Expensive beef. When you go to a French restaurant. It's boeuf. Those are stupid people. Then they hit me with the word 'affordability, affordability.' In other words, like it was my fault. They've been hitting me with that word for the last year.

I don’t think God has a problem with us dressing up our little kids for Halloween but I’m pretty sure God has a problem with us dressing up cruelty and calling it Christian.

Word.
Of all the many evil betrayals I’ve seen in the last 60 years I’ve been alive, I’m struggling to think of any that match what Trump and Musk did to innocent Ukrainian citizens while Putin was sending missiles this way. A trio to live on in infamy well after I am gone

The officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, did not specify who in the White House made the decision or who was responsible for implementing the order. The Pentagon is the biggest customer of Starshield, which is the military-grade version of the Starlink service.

Rep. Janelle Bynum (D-OR) after the deadly school shooting Bend, Oregon: "They’re killing our babies. Shredding our kids with lead. Forcing us to live in fear. I feel this deep, deep, deep in my soul. Our whole community does. Our whole state does. And the whole nation should. Our babies are supposed to do arts and crafts at school, not use their desks as cover from gunfire"

AI is literally a scam, the most sophisticated scam ever. They created a machine that mimics the output of intelligence. Then told everyone it was really intelligent — an impossibility, but the illusion was convincing. Based on that deception, they fleeced investors of trillions.
Not sure who needs to hear this but.... An LLM doesn't "understand" anything. It is a statistical model that spews out tokens based on probabilities calculated through massive matrix operations and context, not an understanding of the subject matter.

Well expressed: “This is actual psychosis, a malleable alternate reality that he manifests from his own psyche, his own delusions.”
As a collapsing narcissist, Trump operates on the principle of maximizing whatever best repairs his acute narcissistic injuries—or protects him from acquiring new ones. The most recent full capitulation to Putin indicates there is some worse injury imminently threatening his ego than being labeled a Russian puppet by people across the political spectrum. Trump’s cognitive decline has destroyed his ability to bullshit his audience. He can’t dance around these kinds of topics anymore—so he just swings wildly to whatever is going to make him feel less frightened in the present moment. This is actual psychosis, a malleable alternate reality that he manifests from his own psyche, his own delusions. He has almost totally disconnected from the objective world—by replacing it with a universe curated by Natalie Harp and his other servants. I’m increasingly worried about what he will do as the prospect of getting crushed in the midterms looms closer. To him, this is like having an execution date. He will get more desperate and dangerous as it nears.

“A 7-year-old agreed to voluntarily leave the country without a lawyer present to explain the legal consequences of the decision. In Arizona, an immigration judge ordered a 1-year-old baby appearing without a lawyer to file an asylum application.” nytimes.com/2026/10/15/us/la…

I remember me and my friends going out Trick or Treating and saying “i just hope the experience is consistent throughout the neighborhood!”
My HOA sent me a letter requesting that I stop handing out full-size candy bars for Halloween this year. -Fun-size bars are usually 15–25¢ each. -Full-size are around 75¢–$1. Most people give out 2–3 fun-size anyway, so the real difference is often only a few cents per kid. Am I crazy, or is it weird for an HOA to police this?

What is really terrible, too, is when you send your child to school and she comes home identifying as a Trump White House Press Secretary. Gives you the chills just thinking about it.

The same applies, of course, if you take a bar exam and don't pass. There is no shame in failing the California Bar Exam on the first try, but, if you haven't passed, you can't present yourself as an attorney or lawyer, which are the same thing. It is quite simple.
