.@mcmansionhell: What does it say about this country that instead of designing schools that better the lives of students, teachers, and the planet, taxpayers spend millions each year to build schools that only reinforce and normalize their trauma and fear? newrepublic.com/article/1552…

If a predatory enemy to our species can’t unite everyone on Earth to fight it, I'm left wondering what hope remains for Civilization.

Anne Frank spent 2 years hiding in an attic and we’ve been home for just over a month with Netflix, food delivery & video games and there are people risking viral death by storming state capital buildings & screaming, “Open Fuddruckers!”

Thousands in Wisconsin are voting at crowded polling places. During a pandemic. Donning facemasks and risking their health. It doesn’t have to be this way. We need to be prepared for easy and secure vote by mail everywhere in November. It’s not negotiable.

The U.S. had a program - PREDICT - that identified lethal viruses abroad to prevent their spread to the U.S.. It had found 1,200 viruses (and 160 coronaviruses) in 10 years. It was actively working in China. Two months before the Wuhan outbreak, Trump shut the program down.

So true...how is that I totally agree with you?
If you read my last number of tweets, only one opinion can be formed - that our President, and therefore "leader," is grossly incompetent!

The Trump administration turning their back on uninsured Americans in the middle of a pandemic is completely indefensible. But know this: some states, including California, have reopened enrollment. Check with your state for more information and demand they reopen enrollment.
Trump officials have decided against reopening Obamacare enrollment to uninsured Americans during the coronavirus pandemic, defying calls from health insurers and Dems to create a special sign-up window amid the health crisis politico.com/news/2020/03/31…

The Trump campaign seriously just issued a cease and desist for this ad so I'm doing my part and sharing it as widely as humanly possible.
