Premium Black is here.
After a lot of development, our new Premium Black slab is officially available.
It features a premium black case with a carbon fiber weave texture and a much heavier, sturdier feel than our standard Clear slab.
Premium Black is a +$5 upgrade per card.
These slabs are significantly more expensive for us to manufacture, but we wanted to make something that felt noticeably different and more premium in hand, not just a black version of our existing slab.
A few important details:
• Premium Black currently fits full size 2.5" × 3.5" cards only.
• Maximum thickness is 32pt, which covers most standard sports cards and other full size trading cards.
• Pokémon, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh! and other smaller format TCG cards are not eligible yet.
• If an ineligible card is submitted with the Premium Black upgrade, it will be encapsulated in our Clear slab and the $5 upgrade will be refunded for that card once the order is complete.
• Promo codes cannot currently be combined with Premium Black.
We know Pokémon and One Piece cards are only a few millimeters smaller than standard sports cards, but that difference is enough to create extra room inside the holder. We do not think that is an ideal fit, so rather than forcing them into the current mold, we are going to make dedicated molds for them.
Our next mold will be designed around Pokémon, One Piece and other similarly sized TCG cards. After that, we plan to develop a separate size for Yu-Gi-Oh!, followed by additional molds for cards thicker than 32pt, including relic and memorabilia cards.
More sizes will come over time. For now, Premium Black is available for standard full size cards.

I'm trying out @DegreeGrading for the first time and did the 5 for $50 with the $5 submission kit. Everything was there, only thing I needed was a little bubble wrap. Can't wait to see how this process goes.

I only deal in low-end cards. I can't afford high end boxes and I don't have any insanely valuable rookies. So, to afford it, I grade with @DegreeGrading

Well done @DegreeGrading this is really cool. I submitted favorites that were green. Can't wait to unbox and thanks for the sho-time 10!
Coming soon... 👀
The black slab is getting closer, and we are building something new alongside it.
Collectors will be able to customize the label accent color to match the card, parallel, team, or the look of an entire collection.
Degree green will remain the standard. The rest is up to you.
Black slab. Your color. Your collection 💚
Targeting launch within the next 2 to 3 months.
