Look, I'm not big on gatekeeping people from Shiny Hunting. Even Logan Paul if it were under the right circumstances. The problem is it's looking like this is a publicity stunt to promote a third party Game Boy alternative whose creators have some pretty awful lore behind the scenes. If you have the financial means, which he does, just use original hardware. There are plenty of HD Modded GBCs and GBAs out there and services that will HD mod them for you. Not only would this help establish credibility that he's not tampering with the Shiny Odds, but also keep him from supporting a third party company that has some rather dark dealings that tarnishes whatever goodwill he's aiming at with this. As it stands right now, he seems to be doubling down on promoting this device despite the outcry. Yet regardless, I can understand people not wanting to welcome Logan Paul into the Shiny Hunting Community when there always seems to be some sort of string attached. There's just not a good track record here. So forgive me for being a little concerned here.
