Always fun to read others doing network performance benchmarking. This is a Great read! And yes, typically best to measure pps toonk.io/linux-kernel-and-me… – at Vancouver, British Columbia
We've been benchmarking Nebula against other VPN software since 2018, to ensure we are meeting our performance goals. Starting today our methodology and results are public. This has been a lot of work over the years, so we are excited to finally share it! defined.net/blog/nebula-is-n…

I talked to my CEO at @DefinedNet about sponsoring some of the open source that we rely on, and he agreed. So we're now sponsoring 9 projects like @vite_js, @PostCSS, @storybookjs, @ariakitjs, & @tan_stack. Try bringing it up with your leaders, it might be easier than you think

A friend and I decided to set up a shared Synology folder for collaboration, so we used the beta version of Defined's Nebula (via defined.net/beta/). It took about ten seconds to add each host. Looking forward to sharing this with more people. (Also, I ❤️ the performance.)

I'm glad to not be superstitious, because it would prevent me from telling y'all that Slack's production Nebula overlay network of 100,000+ nodes is approaching year 5 of 100% uptime. github.com/slackhq/nebula

Nebula 1.5.0 has been released! Highlights: macOS binaries are now universal (amd64 + arm64) and signed. Windows now uses (and includes) the wintun.net driver. More betterer in other ways too! github.com/slackhq/nebula/re…

A big Mobile Nebula update just landed for iOS and Android. Lots of under the hood changes (like ipv6 underlay!) for a much better all-around experience. We weren’t able to add NFT support in this version, but also we didn’t try and never will.

As technology changes and scales there are always new solutions to solve the challenges that come along with that growth. I think we need some new and better ways to describe these new SDWAN/VPN networking solutions, but until then.... youtu.be/QfcwiSkV_AU
