Today we would like to take a minute to congratulate @Wardixo (@WardiTV) for his upcoming 10 year anniversary in Starcraft.
It is fair to say that he is one of the biggest pillars within our beloved @StarCraft community - not only for his passion for the game but constant fresh ideas and high level tournaments for the audience to enjoy.
In the last 10 years he paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars to progamers supporting the professional scene.
I personally want to thank him as well - not just for joining our events with HomeStoryCups but also for inviting TaKeTV to cover his events asking nothing in return.
Both personally and from our community I want to thank you and hope to see you for another 10 years.
Last but not least - he will be hosting a tournament next week and you are invited to join and either watch his stream live in English (1PM CET) or since our German audience usually cannot watch at time the live-cast from replays in the evening (7PM CET)
The tournament will run from Tuesday 22nd through Saturday 27th.

StarCraft’s new direction is starting to sound a lot more interesting.
Blizzard says the upcoming open-world shooter is being built as a complete, narrative-driven game, not a seasonal live-service experience.
You’ll create your own character, explore the world, find better gear and follow a story with an actual beginning, middle and definitive ending.
It’s also set around 70 years after StarCraft II, giving Blizzard room to introduce new characters, factions and stories while keeping that dark, gritty StarCraft atmosphere.
It’s definitely not the StarCraft III many of us expected, but hearing Blizzard describe it more like a complete boxed game feels surprisingly old school.
Now we just have to make it to 2030.

The Barracks was my main contribution to the cinematic return of Starcraft. I first played back in 1998 and have always played Terran so was honoured to create the iconic Barracks. The SC 2 cinematics inspired me to get in to CG so i feel fortunate to make my own contribution

Thankfully for more Starcraft and HomeStoryCup 30 you will not have to wait 4 years. TaKeTV and HSC will join forces with basically every persona that was ever relevant in Starcraft April 8th to April 11th 2027.
