BREAKING: Chinese illicit actors laundering funds from the $387M Bitget exploit on behalf of the alleged DPRK attackers are openly asking for support with orders in public Discord servers and Telegram channels of services they use. Notably, Alias 4 (below) was also seen laundering funds from the Kelp DAO $292M exploit earlier this year. I've observed the same pattern after multiple TraderTraitor attributed exploits, and I've closely tracked these groups. I plan to share more of my data on them in coming weeks. Currently, funds are being chain-hopped via bridges and being deposited into mixing services such as Wasabi. Hackers and hacking are a major issue in crypto. It's been holding crypto back since Mt. Gox. Here is the order of blame when a hack occurs: 1. The hackers. Obviously theft is immoral: 50% blame 2. The exchange that got hacked: The buck stops with the CEO. Secure your shit. 49% blame 3. The user for not self-custodying: But the exchange makes a promise when accepting user funds, so blame is small. 1% blame. Entities with no blame: 1. Censorship-resistant protocols To think otherwise is ridiculous. The whole point of crypto is censorship-resistance. Get with the program or get out.
Gracy Chen's exchange just lost hundreds of millions of dollars of customer funds. Her response is a campaign to assign responsibility to THORChain — infrastructure that worked exactly as designed. The vault failed. The rails did not. Blaming the rails is what you do when you cannot explain the vault. And censorship resistance is not "a design choice." It is the only property that makes crypto worth building. Everything else is a bank with worse UX.

Every great civilization tells the same story. A master. A student. Socrates and Plato. Plato and Aristotle. Aristotle and Alexander. Obi-Wan and Anakin. Yoda and Luke. Different worlds. The same pattern. The goal was never to create followers. It was to pass on a way of thinking. A master compresses decades of experience into principles. The student tests those principles against reality. What survives becomes wisdom. What doesn’t gets discarded. Eventually, the student stops repeating the master’s words. They begin to see the world through their own eyes. Every master was once a student. Every student has the opportunity to become a master. That’s how knowledge compounds. That’s how civilizations move forward. That’s how the future is built.

💆‍♂️ Become the calmest person in the room. Not because life is easy. Because you’ve trained yourself not to be controlled by it. You don’t need to announce your wins. You don’t need to win every argument. You don’t need everyone’s approval. Walk in. Listen. Observe. Smile. Let other people compete for attention. You’re competing for peace. Train hard. Learn to fight. Become dangerous if life ever demands it. But choose kindness. Choose patience. Choose self control. Anyone can be loud. Very few people can stay calm when everyone else loses their mind. That’s real strength.

If you’re new to crypto and this will be your first “cycle” here’s some pieces of advice from someone who’s been through many: Don’t loan ANYONE Don’t invest in illiquid presales Don’t ever do OTC deals There’s no “culture” so stop being a martyr nobody will care in 2 weeks Take profits Be able to give up on trade ideas, no sunken cost fallacy You will be wrong far more often than right and you have to accept it NEVER invest in friends JUST BECAUSE they’re friends, if you genuinely like their stuff fine if not ignore, in both cases don’t tell them and say gl Be like water, be adaptable, be able to switch your focus and pivot if your thesis is invalidated Try to figure out who’s larping and who isn’t, much easier to paper trade, much harder to out your money where your mouth is You’re only as good as your last “call”, this applies more to big accounts, end of the day you’re forgiven everything as long as you eventually print people money some way some how, even ansem/murad/unipcs etc have shilled some coin created massive candles just to never mention it again, that’s why you should also ignore others opinion and form your own Never DOXX, altough I’m doxxed I think it’s the dumbest thing ever, nobody should care what you look like, I also do believe that most people doxxing actually do it to extract more instead of being more transparent Don’t tell anyone if you make crazy money, always be humble/quiet, if people ask you irl(assuming you trade crypto full time) say some dumb shit that’s realistic and won’t attract too much attention Share PnLs only if you’re undoxxed AND ONLY if you plan on gaining a following, the clout is only a negative if you’re trying to maximise profits The only thing in crypto that will never go to 0 is $BTC everything else is easily replaceable, better tech, more decentralised, more funding, funnier meme, etc etc etc

🚨 THORChain Exploit simplified: An attacker spent 2.5 days quietly leaking pieces of validators’ private keys through 864 “failed” signing attempts — each one looking like normal network noise. Eventually they rebuilt a full key and drained ~$10M from one vault. The real story is the fix. Instead of patching over old tech, THORChain is retiring the vulnerable signing scheme entirely and moving to a fundamentally more resistant approach — plus new safeguards like anomaly detection for suspicious validator behavior and stronger validator trust/security models. This wasn’t sloppy code — it was a genuine cryptographic zero-day. The response doesn’t just fix THORChain; it sets a new bar for how decentralized networks everywhere should secure multi-party signing. 🛡️
THORChain Exploit Report #2 is now live. A detailed technical post-mortem covering how the May 15 incident unfolded, why it bypassed existing security mechanisms, and the protocol upgrades being implemented to strengthen THORChain's infrastructure going forward. blog.thorchain.org/thorchain…

Monero on THORChain isn't a promise anymore. It works. Back on May 14, @jpthor , one of THORChain's cofounders, ran a live Monero demo on a real fund test network. Seven nodes, real money, and the first end to end decentralized $RUNE to $XMR swap executed live on the call. Now that THORChain is back online and trading, native $XMR is next.
