Alpha Vault for $GOLD Post-Mortem:
Earlier today, there was a front-end issue on the GOLD-USDC Alpha Vault where the withdraw button for unused USDC was temporarily not visible on the UI.
While this delayed immediate withdrawals, we want to reassure everyone that all unused USDC remained secure in the vault throughout the period.
Withdrawals are now working as per normal, with 90% of unused USDC already withdrawn by depositors.
We understand this caused inconvenience to users, and we truly appreciate our LP Army for being vigilant and reporting the issue to us so swiftly.
We’d also like to congratulate the @DefiDungeons team for the incredible success of the GOLD Fair Launch, with over 130 million USDC deposited into the Alpha Vault.
Even though the vault was over 4000% filled, depositors still got received a pro-rata share of tokens, with the rest of the unused USDC returned to them.
This is what makes the Alpha Vault a special launch mechanism — genuine supporters of a launch get the opportunity to be the first to buy tokens at launch.
With that said, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused during this period, and will continue improving the Alpha Vault to make it an even more reliable and effective tool for token launches.
