Trump is so unaware, so incredibly stupid and so sheltered that he literally doesn't understand how much stuff the US needs from us.
Sure, Donnie, cut off trade with Canada.
No more oil. No more electricity. No more potash. No more lumber. No more car parts. No more steel. No more aluminum. No more rare materials. No more fresh water.
Do it now and see how you survive.
Canada is waiting for you to put your money where your mouth is.
Remember Americans, you buy more resources from suppliers in Canada than any other country.
How quickly can you replace all our natural resources?
Trump: If we're not going to be treated properly, we're going to do that, and all we have to do to cut our trade deficit with the country is not trade with them. If we don't do any trading with Canada. We just end all trade with Canada. We'd save ourselves $90 billion.
Don't forget they do all of their business, almost all of their business with the United States, and we do a relatively small amount of business with them, but if we didn't want to, if we were playing hardball, all we do is say, what are you going to do, no trading with Canada. If we did no trading with Canada, we'd save $90 billion.
And so what I'm saying very simply is that we should be paying the lowest interest rate in the world

We don't need Canada? Who is advising you, Harp? 👇
Crude oil: Canada supplied 63.4% of U.S. crude-oil imports in 2025.
Natural gas: Canada supplied virtually all U.S. natural-gas imports in 2025.
Electricity: Canada supplied 81.3% of U.S. electricity imports in 2025, helping connect and balance regional grids across the border.
Refined petroleum products: Canada supplied 24.9% of U.S. refined-petroleum-product imports in 2025.
Minerals and materials:
Lumber: Canada supplies roughly 70–80% of U.S. softwood-lumber imports, enough to account for about one-fifth to one-quarter of the lumber used in America.
Potash: Canada supplies about 90% of U.S. net potash imports, making it indispensable to fertilizer and agricultural production. Farmers already took a hit from Iran war for fertilizer.
Nickel, aluminum, zinc, and steel: Canada is the leading foreign supplier of each to the United States.
Uranium, cobalt, lithium, copper, graphite, and rare-earth materials: Canada is an important North American partner in supply chains for nuclear power, defense, manufacturing, and batteries.
And you know the sad part? No one knows why we're fighting with Canada. Not even you, yourself.

Just how ridiculous can a US president get?
Trump threatens tariffs and pressures Canada—and when that isn’t enough, Lake Ontario is suddenly supposed to be renamed "Lake America."
This isn't strength; it is embarrassing grandiosity. A trade war cannot be won through delusions of grandeur, threats, and redrawing the map.
Canada is a sovereign neighbor, not a US state—and certainly not Trump’s personal plaything. This notion of "America First" now looks more like "Trump First"—regardless of the cost to the US, its allies, and its own economy.

Trump's jabs at Kaitlan Collins—mocking her looks and calling her award "fake" —were way out of line.
She asks the tough questions and that’s exactly why he went after her.
I stand with Kaitlan 💯

#RogersOutage My Rogers landline works for outgoing calls and mobile calls, but other landlines can’t reach me. The callers just get a fast busy tone (or nothing). It looks like a call routing issue on Rogers’ side
