Thank you @BaldySpecky that is an interesting piece. I am a homosexual man in my 70s and I have regularly included TW when dating. I estimate that 10-15% of my gay friends do likewise, so consistent with the survey. I personally don’t know any gay man who dates TM though.

Predictable but still fascinating insight into how gay men are at this intersection of unchecked transphobia that has them parroting archaic ideas about gender roles that feminise any TM who wants to date them. Only 11.5% of gay men include TM in dating! them.us/story/cis-trans-dati…

New Research Shows a Vast Majority of Cis People Won't Date Trans People

A recent study attempts to quantify the extent of trans discrimination when it comes to romantic and sexual relationships.

As a younger man I was fortunate to have met Kenneth on numerous occasions in London. He would have recently been 100 & I wager his acerbic wit would have prevailed. Politics aside I think he & Tommy would have bonded over a love of art. @TRobinsonGayEra theguardian.com/film/2026/fe…

I am certainly not the only person to strongly suspect that this scene was created and arranged by @TraceyEmin This is not a statement about the rise of patriotism, it is about the decline of art. #flags #englandhasfallen #TommyRobinson #stgeorge

This painting by Caravaggio, Master of Light, is one of the most revolutionary in history. Why? Notice the empty space left at the table for us. Sit down at it, and a strange symbol reveals itself... 🧵

The riots in Southport last night were appalling and are utterly condemned Shocking scenes and our gratitude to brave police officers on the frontline who have suffered multiple injuries The full weight of the law must rain down on the rioters

Goodness me. The musical wing of the English Defence League stand four square behind their brethren. Far-right nonsense. I am far too old to watch their live performances, but would worry about who may be in the crowd.

You’re criminally insane. The irony here is that I chose your pathetically inept thinking to comment on out of the hundreds that have been sent to this account over the last 8 hours much like a criminally insane perpetrator may choose their victim, at random. Fuck off.

It’s unfortunate in this country how we want to bring down exceptional woman. On the left , a visionary economist, fine communicator, and leader, the other a fine author of Pulitzer winning novels, utterly loyal to her leader and should be in the HOL. Let’s celebrate them.

Well said @johnmcdonnellMP - you can be passionately opposed to the Tories and still believe this is a very bad direction for Labour to go in - @RestIsPolitics

This is not the sort of politics a Labour Party, confident of its own values and preparing to govern, should be engaged in. I say to the people who have taken the decision to publish this ad, please withdraw it. We, the Labour Party, are better than this.
