Hey America - do you see what is happening at Fort Hood? America answers Islamic terror the same way every time. We do not get less Islam. We get more! After 9/11, we did not close the door. We opened our institutions. CAIR was elevated as a partner. Federal agencies built Muslim outreach offices. The White House added Ramadan. Mosques multiplied. Islam moved deeper into schools, prisons, politics, airports, and the military. After the Boston Marathon bombing, two jihadists murdered Americans in the name of Islam. The response was more accommodation, not less. More sensitivity training. More fear of offending. More refusal to name the doctrine. After the Pulse nightclub massacre, Omar Mateen pledged allegiance to ISIS and slaughtered 49 people. Officials buried the jihad and argued about everything else. CAIR stepped forward as the voice of the community. The ideology was protected. The institutions bent further. Now Fort Hood. Nidal Hasan prayed at the mosque outside the gate, shouted “Allahu Akbar,” and murdered 13 people on a U.S. military base. Seventeen years later he is finally facing a firing squad, and that same mosque is still there, still growing, still filming American soldiers in uniform converting to Islam. The base still hosts Ramadan. Muslim chaplains still operate inside the gates. That is the pattern. The jihadi is punished. The doctrine is accommodated. Islamic holidays are added to the calendar. Organizations like CAIR are handed more power. Schools, the military, government, corporations, and law enforcement bow a little further. We do not close the door to Islam. We invite it into every part of our society, submit to it, and call it tolerance.

I was endlessly attacked for supporting you - and for exposing the Islamization of America. The hour is late. We need leadership. Can we at least BEGIN with banning Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Texas and Florida have already designated CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood as terrorist organizations under state law. But without federal action, there are limits to what individual states can accomplish. And CAIR knows it. This is the same CAIR that has repeatedly taken its opponents into court. Even our mutual friend Laura Loomer can not publicly comment about CAIR. Think about that. Two of America’s largest states have moved against CAIR, yet there is still no federal terrorist designation. Mr. President, we need your help and your leadership - before what you correctly named in France becomes irreversible here. The time for talking only about Europe is over. America is not watching this battle from across the Atlantic. We are Islam's biggest target and prize.

The institution RAIR has been investigating - and whose school now faces a civil lawsuit alleging that a woman was strangled and raped inside the school, begged for police, and was allegedly told officials would “handle it” rather than call 911. The complaint further alleges she was questioned about whether she was an American citizen and offered money. And then there is another original mosque vote center: THE ISLAMIC ASSOCIATION OF NORTH TEXAS. It later hosted an event with a title that should stop every Texan cold: “FROM MARXISM TO ISLAM: THE REVOLUTIONARY ROAD TO ALLAH.” Speakers argued that Islam and Western civilization cannot coexist. Read that again. CANNOT COEXIST. Yet this institution was simultaneously being used as an official place where Texans select the people who exercise government power. THAT IS THE COLLISION BARRY WERNICK IS CHALLENGING. And it exposes the political bargain Texans should be scrutinizing: ISLAMIC INSTITUTIONS WANT POLITICAL INFLUENCE.
