So glad & proud that you could take our sonar down to Challenger Deep, with @VictorVescovo to make what is probably the first side scan imagery of the deepest point on earth. We have recently upgraded this sonar to 800m range: you need to try it 😉!

Very sad to learn of the death of Don Walsh. Along with Jacques Piccard, he piloted the bathyscaph Trieste down to the bottom of the Mariana Trench in Jan 1960. He was a legendary oceanaut and a great source of inspiration for our group of deep sea explorers.

This time last year, on the anniversary of Shackleton’s burial, the Endurance shipwreck was found deep beneath sea ice in Antarctica. An unforgettable experience being part of the expedition that found it, can’t believe it’s been a year already!
WE FOUND IT!
3000m below the ice that sunk her. Despite the brutal weather and conditions, technical issues and many that said it couldn’t be found, the Endurance lives again!
