Last night at Garcias, our girl @KarinaRykman wrapped up her 2-night run with Deep Cut & Dayglo with a very special sit in from Chicago’s own, our brother, @thenealfrancis on keys! Here’s a tasty segment from the jam of The Velvet Underground cover, Cool It Down! 🌹 🎸🔪 🎹
Shredding, Groovy, Psychedelic, and Jammed Out Rock & Roll. @johhnyblueskies & The Dark Clouds are arguably the greatest band touring right now, and they proved it at the United Center in Chicago last night. 🎸🪩

“My way is music. Music is me being me...” — Jerry Garcia, @RollingStone 1969
The very first run of shows ever at Garcias Chicago in March of 2025 were with Grahame Lesh & Friends. Today as we conclude The Days Between 2026, Deep Cut & Dayglo welcome him and the band back for a double header with a matinee + evening show! Both shows are sold out and if you were lucky enough to score one of the tickets, we’ll see you there! Rest in peace, Jerry, Bobby & Phil… Something special has been built in the spirit of your legacy with all of us together here in Chicago, and we’re forever grateful for it. Here’s to 300 more years. 🌹⚡️💀🚂 🐢
Gravity Blues by @geese_band really evokes the spirit of @weeninfo and this jam with dual guitar solos will give you a little taste of what we mean. If you don’t know the studio version of the song from their album 3D Country, do yourself a favor and look it up! 🎸🪿🔪
💀⚡️ Last night, Josh Olken of Terrapin Flyer 🐢🚂 took Jerry Garcia’s Travis Bean TB500 # 11 for a spin (the entire show!) at Garcia’s Chicago, courtesy of the mighty Family Guitars! It was a worthy and incredibly tasty performance by the young rising star in the Dead community. Terrapin’s Days Between run presented by @DeepCutPresents & Dayglo concludes tonight for one more show in the West Loop! We hope to see you all there! 🌹🫘🎸
