So, was Shane Day or Harbaugh calling offensive plays in the second half of yesterday’s game? Because it didn’t look like McDaniel.

Chargers are in a rebuild.
In the Herbert era they spent 3 years rebuilding with Staley just to get ready for 3 years of rebuild with Harbaugh, so they can rebuild for the next 3 years to rebuild this team until 2030, when they’ll finally be ready to rebuild again.

Q to Jim Harbaugh after he praised Justin Herbert's "warrior" play that he's been watching for two and a half years:
"Part of that is just him taking a ruthless beating because of, I don't know if it's the group in front of him, his protection, what's going on, but when you came here, your charge was to get him protected. Mike's [McDaniel] charge was to make sure he didn't have to be a superhero, but 2.5 years later, like you said, he still has to be a superhero for you guys to have a chance to win the game. Why is that?"
"Yeah, that just sounds more like an insult than it does a question, but if that's the way you look at it. I'm saying that it's the kind of competitor that he is where I've never seen him flinch. I've never seen him rattled. He's an amazing inspiration and that's what we do. We all feed off of that. I know the entire team does. And you ask me what gives me optimism, what gives me hope with this football team, because I see that throughout the entire team. And yeah, we attack, we improve, can't improve everything all at once, but we can improve one thing at a time, all the time. And that's what this team is doing.
"It wasn't insult. I'm just asking if it's the third season now and he's still among the most pressured and hit quarterbacks. I'm just asking you why that is?"
"I think I answered your question. I can answer it the same way."
"You can answer it the same way, but I don't think you answered it."
"I think I did."
Yeah time to retire bud
#Chargers Pro Bowl OT Rashawn Slater is believed to have suffered a high-ankle sprain based on the initial exams, sources say.
He'll have an MRI this morning, but that's an injury that general takes several weeks to heal. A hit to the LAC OL.
Would be so funny if the chargers signed him now after the season was over
Developing: Tyreek Hill’s agent Drew Rosenhaus said he plans to begin negotiating a deal for his veteran wide receiver with multiple teams today.
One of those teams is the Chiefs, who have maintained contact with Hill.
“I would anticipate Tyreek potentially signing with a team over the next few days,” Rosenhaus said.

I know there are a bunch of really smart ppl in the Chargers building, but the tape is leaving me befuddled conceptually! It almost feels like they are trying things bc #Herbert is a freak and they think he can do things others can’t, but it makes little sense!
Yes, I felt Herbert was uncomfortable earlier in year & missed some OPPs being tentative, yesterday, he had a couple bad INTs, but so many concepts left me uncomfortable for him watching the tape!

As a lifelong San Diego Padres and Chargers fan I just want you all to understand it has been like this my entire life. Every insane way you can lose, we created it. Every improbable collapse you've never fathomed, we lived it.
You don't really know pain unless you're from here.
11 wins pop
