We've checked the RCN survey and can confirm BBC Scotland misled the public. The only reference to patients dying in corridors was in the English NHS sample. The only reference to a miscarriage in a side room was in Yorkshire. There was no mention of anyone dying in a corridor in Scotland. The closest in the Scottish subsample was mention of a patient who was *told* they were dying when they were in a corridor. "We have had to review patients and break bad news in the A&E corridor. We told a patient he was dying as patients were wheeled past and orders shouted across the unit." There was also no reference to any miscarriages happening in side rooms in Scotland.
