Accountability isn’t announcing that some accusations are true, some are false, and promising to explain which ones at an unspecified date in the future. That’s a teaser trailer, not accountability. I’m glad she’s getting help, genuinely. But mental illness can explain behavior without excusing the harm it caused. If you want to move forward honestly, start by being specific about what you did, who you hurt, and what you’ve done to make amends. Growth requires more than a rebranding campaign.
