Before you trust a system with your money, you should know who built it. A CFA charterholder and former investment banker. An engineer who specialises in AI and mathematical modelling. 150-plus people behind them, including a 35-person research desk. Go and check all of it. Link in bio.

Banks are exploring tokenized deposits while other institutions develop stablecoins. A tokenized deposit remains a claim on a bank. A stablecoin is issued separately and backed by reserves under its own structure. Those differences can affect how money moves, who holds the underlying deposits and who earns the interest. With the 10-year Treasury near 4.97%, investors have to compare other assets against a government-backed yield close to 5%. Stocks, property and digital assets carry different risks. The question is not just whether they can deliver a higher return, but where that return comes from and how reliable it is.

When an educator shares a position, you see the entry. You may not see the position size, exit plan or conditions that would invalidate the idea. Copying a trade and understanding one are different skills. The second means weighing the variables, assessing risk and deciding what fits your own situation.

The dollar’s up 4%. Gold’s down 25% from its January record. Bonds just had their most volatile stretch in months. None of the usual hiding spots agree with each other right now. We break this down daily. Join the free Sovereign Collective. Link in bio.

A free video can explain a yield curve. It cannot ask why you sized a position that way or test your reasoning when conditions change. Structured education adds a mentor who questions your decisions, helping you examine the logic rather than just learn the terminology. The US dollar is up about 4% since late February. Gold is down roughly 25% from its January record. And government bond yields have swung by as much as 20 basis points in a single session this week, enough that Reuters questioned whether government debt still deserves its haven status. Three assets investors reach for when markets get uncertain. Three different stories right now. Here’s the part worth sitting with: owning cash, bonds, and gold doesn’t mean you’re hedged against everything. Cash protects liquidity but not purchasing power. Bonds offer predictable income, but their market value moves with rates. Gold diversifies certain risks while carrying real price volatility of its own, as this month showed. None of these are bad assets. Each comes with a tradeoff that rarely gets mentioned. Take a $500,000 portfolio split across stocks, bonds, and cash. On paper, that’s diversified. The real question is how much of it is still tied to the same currency, the same rate environment, the same policy decisions. Spreading money across asset classes and reducing correlated risk are not the same thing. That distinction matters more as the portfolio gets larger. We break this down daily. BNY and Citadel Securities completed a triparty repo workflow using a tokenized US Treasury, BNY announced on Oct. 13. The asset settled on BNY's private ledger before serving as collateral in an overnight repo. The trade is familiar. The settlement process is what changed. Tesla beat earnings by 3 cents a share. Profit still fell 43%. The real story’s in the proxy filing, not the print. No merger confirmed, but the board looks ready for one.

A stablecoin's reliability depends partly on how quickly its reserves can be turned into cash. If holders redeem faster than reserves can be sold, the peg faces pressure. Cash and short-term Treasuries can behave very differently under stress than longer-term or less liquid assets.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs took in $23.16M net on Oct. 20, per SoSoValue, with IBIT adding $29.87M. Cumulative net inflows reached $57.43B, making the day's addition about 0.04% of that total. One day says little about demand. Flows mean more over several weeks, alongside price and rates.

When an educator shares a position, the position is the least useful part. What matters is which variables made it reasonable, its size relative to the portfolio, and what would trigger an exit. Copy the reasoning and you can adapt it. Copy the trade and you inherit someone else's risk.

U.S. Bank tested a live cross-border transfer of its own stablecoin on Stellar in September, between its North American and European entities. The pilot covered minting, redemption, freezing and clawback. It was an internal test, not a customer product. The controls are worth watching. Stocks just hit extreme fear. History says this goes one of two ways: a bottom already behind us, or one more flush ahead. Tomorrow, live, Tan and Salim show thousands of our members what they’re already doing about it. Free entry point: the Sovereign Collective. Link in bio.

For 14 straight quarters, Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway sold more stocks than it bought. More than three years of net selling. Then in Q2 2026, under new CEO Greg Abel, Berkshire bought $19.8 billion in stocks and sold just $3.7 billion. We’re not saying go buy stocks. We’re saying look at what sits behind that decision: a full research operation evaluating businesses, risk, and opportunity, not a gut call based on the latest YouTube prediction. Now think about your own portfolio. When do you hold cash versus deploy it? When do you diversify? When does an investment that made sense six months ago deserve a second look? Most individual investors answer those questions alone, or by following someone else’s stock tip. That’s why we built Decentralized Masters. Not to copy Berkshire’s trades, but to teach a disciplined, research-driven process, covering traditional and digital assets, market reasoning, and risk. Markets keep changing. The question is whether you have a process for that, or you’re waiting on someone else’s call. We break moves like this down daily in the free Sovereign Collective. Join free, link in bio.

A mentor's position tells you what they hold. It doesn't tell you their size, time horizon, exit conditions or how it fits their portfolio. Copy the position without that context and you inherit the risk without the plan. Rate shocks expose the difference. Build your own decision-making framework in the free Sovereign Collective.

WTI is trading around $100 a barrel. Higher oil prices can feed inflation expectations, which can influence Treasury yields and borrowing costs for households, companies and governments. The 10-year Treasury yield was near 5.15% on Oct. 19. Follow the connections between markets in the free Sovereign Collective.

A decision process can start with risk instead of opportunity. Before asking what to buy, consider the potential loss, how the position moves alongside the rest of your portfolio, and what evidence would change your mind. That order of thinking is central to how the ABN System approaches allocation. Explore the framework behind ABN in the free Sovereign Collective. Link in bio.
