It has come to our attention that some local authors have been contacted by people impersonating book festival staff. This is so disheartening to us and we want to make sure that none of our community members fall victim.

At the @DecaturBookFest, Arian Simone, Stacey Abrams and Danita Knight discussed Simone’s new book, “Fearless Freedom,” and the 2023 lawsuit that challenged her Fearless Fund’s grant program for Black women entrepreneurs. buff.ly/LNULYq1

🤯 I met two-time Oprah's Book Club pick & Bestselling Author, Tayari Jones, at the 2026 Decatur Book Festival today 📖. She autographed my copy of KIN with: “Welcome to Atlanta”... a nod from God that I’m in the ‘write’ place! 🙌🏾

Had a great time at the @DecaturBookFest today with the @atlwritersclub. Sold some books, met some cool people, and got to catch up with two of my favorite authors, @bobbynash and Hope Epting Loschak!

I'll be repping #UGA at the @DecaturBookFest this Saturday (Oct. 03) alongside students that are WAYYYY better than me in every way. Swing by around 4 p.m. if you want to see some talented people.
Then you'll get to hear me.
