One part of the Big Beautiful Bill that hasn't received much coverage is the expansion of eligibility for Health Saving Accounts (HSAs). Starting next year, anyone with a bronze or catastrophic plan will be eligible to open and fund and HSA. HSAs are a powerful tax-advantaged account that encourages saving and allows people to take more control of their healthcare spending. This will expand access to around 7 million Americans and represents one of the largest expansions of HSA eligibility in history!
