Now that is impressive @pkainsworth ! Bravo 👏
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠? When times are hard, it’s important to look back at what you have achieved. On Sunday I completed my 4th Lincoln Half Marathon. It was a wonderful day with so many people in the city but blimey was that hill tough!

Absolutely. How many many years now has this complete absence of ethics been , de facto, encouraged by long standing accountability measures @educationgovuk … well said Jonny.

Gosh this resonates @mikip555 @SchoolsWeek @ForumStrategyUK . It is imperative that leaders seize the initiative and don’t just respond. The possibilities of pure accountability are so compelling….

Yes @mikip555 @ForumStrategyUK . The detail of any EIF - whatever its quality- is only one dimension in a hugely complex accountability environment. The personal tragedy which prompted this reform symbolised how much we must do to change the narrative.
Most of this looks eminently sensible. However, let’s not fall into the trap of thinking it will address the major underlying challenges that schools and this generation face from context. It’s a functional, not a strategic, development in an environment where issues such as tech, community cohesion, and evolving aspirations will define the next decade.

I’m so sorry to read this @AJRAllModCons . I’m not aware of the issues, but I’m sorry you and your colleagues are having to cope with what is clearly awful. My warmest support to all in the marvellous @ChilternLT 🥰🥰🥰
The people in these pics are my work colleagues, they are inspirational leaders, they SERVE our community & our children proudly. They are also my friends. To see the vile nonsense they’ve had to read on social media over the last few days sickens me to the core. #britishvalues

He was one of the greats @MrTeece_ . His beautiful aura, even now I’m sure, lives on in the school we both led @NunthorpeA . His legacy is immense ❤️
Was asked this week who inspired me in education and whilst there are many who have and still do. My stand out was Sir John Rowling, not for just what he achieved but his moral compass, his passion, his oratory and connection. Not only did he light a fire, he saved me when I'd

I think you nailed this @lewis_goodall . Even Thatcher had a hard time from the very same given her working class roots. She was daft and her loss to eta cabinet is significant .
Two things can be true at once. Rayner was foolish in her conduct and right to resign. It’s also true she was always despised by much of the right wing press because she was a working class powerful woman. She was therefore threatening to them, because she authentically spoke for the same people they (erroneously) claim to speak for and could not be dismissed as a liberal elite- their favoured tactic with anyone they don’t like. She’s therefore been the subject to endless snobbery and classism and extra scrutiny from day 1- another reason she was foolish not to be meticulous.

Love when this happens @markhsk ! I have seen so much talent on all sorts of panels. The system really does have some impressive leaders .
It’s a real privilege interviewing senior leaders. Today, we were blown away by the quality of candidates for VP posts @York_High. Passionate, child-centred, highly skilled, impressive experience & track records… & genuinely nice people. = GREAT appointments. Exciting times!
