“What about a story?” said Christopher Robin. “Could you very sweetly tell Winnie-the-Pooh one?” “I suppose I could,” I said. “What sort of stories does he like?” “About himself. Because he’s that sort of Bear.” “I’ll try,” I said. So I tried. ~A.A.Milne #winniethepooh100

Tu sei amore e carità, Tu sei sapienza, Tu sei umiltà, Tu sei pazienza, Tu sei bellezza, Tu sei mansuetudine, Tu sei sicurezza, Tu sei quiete. Tu sei gaudio e letizia, Tu sei nostra speranza, Tu sei giustizia. Tu sei temperanza, Tu sei tutta la nostra ricchezza a sufficienza. Tu sei bellezza, Tu sei mansuetudine. Tu sei protettore, Tu sei custode e nostro difensore, Tu sei fortezza, Tu sei refrigerio. Tu sei la nostra speranza, Tu sei la nostra fede. Tu se la nostra carità. Tu sei tutta la nostra dolcezza, Tu sei la nostra vita eterna, grande e ammirabile Signore, Dio onnipotente, misericordioso Salvatore".

St. Therese of Lisieux, who died at age 24, has the distinction of being the YOUNGEST Doctor of the Church. You're never too young to become a GREAT saint! Little Flower of Jesus, ora pro nobis! ow.ly/Bqbw50WNEkq

Today, Oct. 1, the Church celebrates Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus, Virgin and Doctor of the Church, affectionately known as “The Little Flower.” Through her “Little Way,” Thérèse showed that holiness is found not only in great deeds, but in doing the smallest, hidden acts with immense love and complete trust in God’s mercy. From the silence of the cloister, she desired simply to be “love in the heart of the Church.” Saint Thérèse, pray for us!
