What I'd rather see is this:
Seed the top 8.
The next 16 play in "bowl games" of some kind, even if they're on campus. There's no reason Duke's Mayo can't sponsor a campus game.
The 8 winners are then seeded and slotted to play the playoffs.

What an incredible day. Loving that some want to make the narrative after #UGA beat #Alabama in Tuscaloosa is because of the refs…
#Dawgs fans feel your…pain? 😂

"Playoff expansion wont make games meaningless BUT we have to get rid of conference championship games because they have become meaningless."
Do these people even understand what they are saying?

CCG appearances are still determined by those same imbalanced schedules. The games themselves are completely meaningless.
Is there a Western Michigan judge that can issue an injunction here? It seems to work everywhere else.
Two things:
1. Appointing a family member to a deceased senator's seat as an interim appointment is not at all unusual throughout our history.
2. It is and always has been stupid.
How far will Georgia’s RPI drop after beating #12 Mississippi State for the 4th time?
The problem are the autobids. Top 12 teams, no automatic bids.
If this were in place since the original CFP, this would've included:
Western Michigan in 2016, UCF in 2017 and 2018, Coastal Carolina in 2020, and Cincinnati and BYU (still independent) in 2021.
There aren't 12 teams that can win the CFP so there's no reason to expand. The answer is reducing to 8, if not fewer.
Kirby told Puglisi not to back up when he took the knee.
Thinking he wanted to make sure we stayed over 300 yards rushing.
