You never think you’ll say: “why is there rice in the bathroom sink.”
Then you have a two year old and you say: “Honestly, I’m surprised there isn’t more rice in the bathroom sink.”

Sniper's $SPX 0DTE Tactical Plan for Aug 03, 2026
Learn to make $1K a day with proper risk mgmt. using these institutional levels.
$SPY traders can use the exact same levels with 2 point OTM strikes.
Market Environment:
SPX Spot: 7,535 (Gap up from Friday's 7,489 close)
ATM IV: 16.4% (low)
0DTE Straddle: 28 pts
Major Inflection: 7,475 (Below this level, expect volatility to expand as dealer hedging favors selling into weakness.)
Bullish:
Trigger: Hold above 7,535 and reclaim 7,540 on a 5-minute candle.
Stop Loss: 5-minute close back below 7,530.
Then Follow the chart.
Bearish:
Trigger: Below 7520 on a 5-min candle
Stop Loss: 5-min closes above 7530
Sideways Plan:
With a 28-point 0DTE straddle and relatively low IV, if SPX remains trapped between 7,510-7,550, premium sellers should benefit.
7490/7480 short put, 7585/7595 short calls.

End of Day Review:
$SPX beautifully tagged both of our extreme levels today DT3 and UT3. Any early short iron condor between those two zones would have put us under serious pressure, which is exactly why I chose to sell 7400 short puts instead of fading both sides from the open. That decision worked out very well.
I was done trading before lunch, but in hindsight, calls above our call trigger or short puts after stabilization were the highest-probability plays.
We got excellent two-way volatility today. As expected, the early flush accelerated once our 7450 inflection level broke. Mechanically, that’s where MM hedging flips forcing big boys to sell into weakness, which fuels downside acceleration and vol expansion. Once that selling pressure was absorbed, buyers stepped back in and the market rallied all the way to UT3.
Days like today are a great reminder that understanding SPX mechanics is everything. The levels don’t predict the future. They help us react with discipline when the market gets there.
Sniper's $SPX 0DTE Tactical Plan for July 31, 2026
Learn to make $1K a day with proper risk mgmt. using these institutional levels.
$SPY traders can use the exact same levels with 2 point OTM strikes.
Market Environment:
SPX Spot: 7455 (gapped up from 7437)
0DTE ATM IV: 23.1%
Expected Move (Straddle): 40 points
Overnight strength favors buyers early, but gap-ups often invite profit-taking before the next directional move.
Major Inflection: 7450 (below 7450 Bearish, above 7450 bullish with Caution)
Bullish Trigger: 5-min above 7465, SL : 5-min below 7460
Then follow the chart.
Bearish Trigger: 5-min below 7448. SL: 5-min above 7455
Then follow the chart.
Sideways Strategy:
Wait for ATM IV to contract after the open. If SPX remains range-bound, I'll look at a small-size 7485/7495 × 7425/7415 short iron condor.
Why? Thin liquidity below our inflection could trigger a fast downside acceleration. I'd rather let that play out before selling premium.
In short: the downside path appears easier than the upside today, but only after price confirms acceptance below the Inflection. That's where I'd expect big boys hedging to have the greatest impact. It's all about how they position.
Let's print together, Shall We?

Twitter posters doing more to increase foreign demand for American beef in a week than the Beef Checkoff has done in 30 years. Amazing.
The distinction here is that for 4950 of those 5000 years China was a preindustrial, traditionalist agrarian society.
Once you industrialize. You need inputs to keep the factories going. Markets to sell your goods to. So that you can pay wages and buy more inputs etc. industrialized economies are machines that can’t be shut off. Or everyone dies.

I didn’t think they would actually start legalizing rape and murder.
