The concept of going this hard over James Gunn and Andy Muschietti
Seeing the real-time power struggle between The Rock and James Gunn for control of DC was so fucking surreal 😭
The way this show used Darkseid was just so good. Having him be a Satan allegory who derives his power from the influence he has over people, and then having Clark defeat him by simply showing himself to the world and giving people hope.
This show pretends that Green Lantern mythology is already super well-known amongst the mainstream for some reason.
They did a deconstruction of Green Lantern without giving any context of Green Lantern, it’s like if Logan was the first X-Men movie.
Sinestro didn’t even do anything wrong in the show, except kill a Guardian (who are assholes anyway) and yet our “hero” John tortures him and leaves him for dead on a desolate planet? While letting the person who MURDERED HAL JORDAN get off scott-free? 😭
The entire DCU so far has just been “Guys just wait for the next project! The buildup! Just wait for the retcon! It’ll be good soon I promise!”
DC putting Hal Jordan through humiliation ritual because they still haven’t forgiven his movie for flopping
It’s like they felt the need to justify the existence of mutants, like the MCU, even though that’s because the MCU had legal restrictions for years on the X-Men/F4, while the Insomniacverse doesn’t, so it’s just pointless
Insomniac repeating the same “your best friend betrayed you and is the main villain” plotline for the fourth time, c’mon man
they also originally had a very innovative two-handed claws system using adaptive triggers, but they scrapped it for a generic “press Square”
Finished Wolverine. It was alright, I was actually kinda enjoying the story but then it just takes a wild nosedive in the last 4 missions 😭
my Jason in chapter 6 going to burgershot and gooning at the strip club for the 7th time in a day, after getting a break-up text from Lucia
