WATCH: United Nations Special Rapporteur on Extreme Poverty and Human Rights, Olivier De Schutter, commends #Rwanda’s poverty alleviation efforts which resulted in lifting 1.5 million people out of poverty in the last seven years from 2017 to 2024, according to data from the seventh Integrated Household Living Conditions Survey (EICV 7) by the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR).
