I find myself disabling Auto Mode to use dangerously-skip-permissions due to the blocking of prod reads. I do support, I spent a lot of time scripts and skills that prevent agents from writing prod data and accessing tables they can't use just to get blocked by Haiku 🙃

This search preference should 101% ignore messages "Sent using" Claude or ChatGPT. They're literally bot messages and I don't care for them when I'm using search. @SlackHQ

I've been telling people when Google wanted to make a real model they will.
Introducing Gemini 4 Argon, our new frontier model, rolling out to cyber defenders starting today, and more widely as soon as possible. I am really excited by the progress we have made here. Argon is priced at $2 in and $10 out during introductory pricing!

Working with NVIDIA is a very unique experience - since I started supporting their selfhosted Greptile, we've processed half a million reviews - and I've learned a lot about Perforce in the process. 🦎💚
Greptile has reviewed over 395,000 pull requests across @NVIDIA‘s large, complex codebases, where keeping up with code review was taking a growing share of engineers' time. On one team, the average time to merge went from more than 24 hours to 6 hours.

I say time and time again Bun is not production ready. We've been doing garbage collection since 1959 what do you mean fixed timer?
Perf win of the day: Claude Code CLI now uses 2x less CPU at p99. Bun's garbage collector was running on a fixed timer, so it would kick in mid-turn and steal CPU right when Claude Code was busiest. Now it waits until the process is idle.

I think most people don't know two letter TLDs are run by (typically) volunteers from the country it represents. .me is operated by the University of Montenegro Faculty of Electrical Engineering. In my opinion, it's mostly irresponsible to put production workloads on ccTLDs.
Statement Regarding the Suspension of t.me The .ME Registry works closely with law enforcement to monitor and mitigate issues across the .ME domain in accordance with applicable laws, including sanctions requirements. On 13 July, First VPN Service (1VPNS) was included as a sanctioned entity by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. A Telegram channel using the t.me domain was among 1VPNS identified infrastructure. Accordingly, the t.me domain was suspended. On 14 July, Telegram provided confirmation that it had removed its links and affiliations with 1VPNS. Once the confirmation was reviewed and verified, the suspension was removed from the t.me domain. We appreciate Telegram’s prompt cooperation in resolving this matter.

I think there are a few exceptions to this rule though, every interaction I've had with .gg (Island Networks) has been wonderful. .ai recently transferred the operation of the TLD from it's sole human operator to Identity Digital (who owns most of the newer tlds).

is there anywhere that supports next.js and doesn't suck? @CloudflareDev forces you to leave pages for workers, which doesn't have preview deployments. @vercel doesn't have billing limits. what is going on here? both of these services cost $20/mo and lack the basics

I've said for years Bun is unreliable in production
This month, our free iMessage API crossed 10M+ messages processed per day. At the same time, we heard the feedback: the service was disconnecting, dropping messages, and feeling unreliable. Over the past few weeks, our team rebuilt major parts of the backend and shipped a major stability upgrade. We want to share what changed under the hood: - Migrated from @bunjavascript to @nodejs to eliminate silent gRPC drops and unlock distributed tracing - Added multiple replicas and fixed OOM issues caused by async workloads - Rebuilt inbound delivery with a fan-in / fan-out architecture, using the database as the source of truth

We’ve received notice that the Department of Commerce has lifted export controls on Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5. We'll begin restoring access tomorrow, and will share an update soon. We’re grateful to our users for their patience, and to everyone who worked with us on redeploying the models.
