When things are feeling really bad I watch this video. I believe it is the most important video on the internet.
Design your life like a masterpiece.
Walk more. Embrace silence. Prioritize health, time, & money. Sleep well. Live creatively. Read daily. Communicate with intention. Go offline for 48 hrs. Protect curiosity. Less clutter, more clarity. One DM can change everything. #LifeDesign #Mindset2026 #Minimalism
When technology makes something cheaper and easier, people don’t use less of it — they use way more. That’s what happened with software, and it’s happening again with AI.
AI makes it cheap to write copy, build features, run campaigns, and explore ideas that used to be too expensive or slow. So instead of doing fewer projects, companies will do many more.
When everyone can produce more, design becomes the difference. Clear thinking, good taste, and well-designed experiences are what turn all that AI output into something people actually want.
AI multiplies work. Design decides what’s worth shipping.
2024: chat AI.
2025: thinking AI, vibe coding, visual design.
2026: AI that acts.
2027: AI workflows.
2042: new computing layer.
Who designs it — and why?
2027 (prediction): AI runs workflows with people in the loop. Teams of AIs need clarity, trust, and good design.
When there’s no more time to waste…
… the designers will guide the earth.
The 20th century was about developers. The 21st century is about the designer. The problem solver. The innovator. The artist who builds real solutions.
Did you know our entire world has been designed…?
We have A LOT of challenges , or opportunities, and we need more people trained to solve problems.
It’s the Dawn of the Designer. Get ready.

What do apps look like when you design AI first?
Starting a thread to collect some examples I've found.

The Federal government computers & software are in such bad shape that they often cannot verify that payments are not fraud, waste or abuse!
That’s why the government can’t pass basic audits. They often LITERALLY don’t know where your tax dollars went. It’s insane.
My preferred title in the new administration is Volunteer IT Consultant. Need to fix the IT infrastructure in order to make government work. This is a grind & hardly glorious, but we can’t make government efficient & fix the deficit if the computers don’t work.
