It is lovely when we see familiar faces return to WA and when we hear what our alumni go on to do after they leave us! Thank you to the former students who took the time to come in and chat to Year 12s for a careers carousel event and thank you @DavyFutureFirst @FutureFirstOrg
A fantastic morning at @WestminsterAca where our amazing #alumni volunteers inspired the Year 12’s and left them feeling well informed about their future options post-school! 💫

What a fantastic morning we have had. A massive thank you to @DavyFutureFirst @Futurefirst and all the alumni volunteers who joined us today. We really enjoyed listening to the pathways you took to your careers, and the memories you have from BLA. #Gatsby #Careers #BeYourBest

It’s been great having @FutureFirstOrg with us today hosting a ‘careers carousel’; a Doctor, a Physiotherapist, a Digital Product Director and a Business Analyst. We are spoilt for choice!!! 🤩

Why do #alumni volunteers do what they do?
We asked our community what motivated them to volunteer at their old school or in their community for #SchoolsAlumniWeek. Here's what they had to say. 👇

It's #SchoolsAlumniWeek! ✨
We’re raising awareness of the importance of relatable role models for disadvantaged young people, & how #alumni can fill this role in state schools & colleges in the UK.

✨ Offers a sustainable community of champions
✨ Opens doors to new connections & opportunities
