An emergency has been imposed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan under the pretext of two constitutional articles, 232: War, external aggression or serious internal disturbance 234:Failure of constitutional machinery in a province, commonly called Governor’s Rule. The Federal Cabinet has advised the President who has approved the emergency under article 48-1. The next step would be on Tuesday, when both houses will come together to approve the emergency since the provincial assembly now ceases to exist. The approval has to happen within 10 days.

Pakistan and Turkey will compliment KSA forces as the later goes on the offensive. Most likely offensive role will be restricted to advisory and embedded special operations. Turks will provide Drone support while Pakistan will add the squadron there to overall sortie rate.
