That's a wrap from MoDo!
Very excited to share what we've captured here this week.

The Motor on Victor Eklund is absolutely ridiculous, this kid never fails to put maximum effort into every shift.
Eklund isn't the biggest player but he's got HEART, #Isles lead 2-0.

Last season, we introduced our latest major European project: the ranking of the top 100 prospects from the 2010-born class.
This year, we’re turning our attention to the 2011-born class.
Here’s one must-know prospect from each region. 👀

This pass by Liam Öhgren is absolutely disgusting. Catches Rossi streaking out of the corner of his eye and just telegraphs this thing from a spin maneuver. Totally blind, tape to tape. Easily my favorite moment of night one.

I made this point in my column today: I think Jiricek is always going to be a player that just doesn't pass the eye test for some, even if he ultimately works out as a player in Philly. He'll be a "the positives outweigh the negatives" type of d-man.

Really interesting note about Willander identifying his handling as being a bottleneck. It's something I was worried about in the past; I was a bit too harsh when I wrote this two-ish years ago, but it was a factor.
I think his game will open up drastically this season.

Daniil Yermolov slotted just outside of the first round on our preliminary 2027 NHL Draft rankings at EP.
He opened up the new season with a goal while showcasing his high-end handling and powerful playstyle.

Perfect stylistic fit for that top six. I wonder where he fits on the power play.

The season's starting again! Make sure scouts can actually find you. EP Premium Annual is 33% off right now, only until September 30th.
Playing a methodical, calculated game, focused on keeping opponents in front of him, and building plays through deceptive passes, Evangelista wins his shifts. He’s not only a clever tactician, but also a hard and skilled battler, who fights at the net and wins pucks. Great add.
TRADE 🔄
We've acquired Colorado’s 2028 first-round pick (conditional) and New Jersey’s 2028 second-round pick from the Devils in exchange for forward Luke Evangelista.
