Clearing fence lines for replacement.
Old wood & bull wire line could be late 19th century, 5 wire suspension fence was 1980’s, I wonder when this will need full replacement.

People love to rave about Henry Fords decision to increase workers wages, but conveniently forget the conditions it came with.
In 1914, Henry Ford doubled wages to $5/day.
To qualify, workers had to let Ford’s “Sociological Department” make unannounced visits to workers' homes to inspect their hygiene, finances, marriages, gambling and drinking habits.
Those deemed “unwholesome” were paid less.
Looks like plane wasn’t moving.

No other sheep around, they stuck together, whichever way it went it’s good for the lambs.
The gibber country with its billions of little stones is pretty rough, but grading fence lines often leads to the fragile soil eroding.
We roll the lines with a 7 tonne smooth drum to allow vehicle access and a smooth pad for the line. Works well in that country.

We’re lucky to have towns that close together for most of the landmass.
