@JoshPateCFB I have a lot of respect for your work. Your take on the M/WMU game appears agenda driven and ignores the real issue. Let me explain why. The issue has nothing to do with who deserved to win or who should have won. Anybody watching the game

@CMacWFAN here’s why Boone’s take on the Sanchez play was awful. The idea is to play smart baseball. Go back to the Miracle at the Meadowlands…Giants did not execute. But that wasn’t the outage. The outage is the play call which led to the mistake was UNNECESSARY.
Same thing here. The Boone Yanks make critical mistakes. Maybe if he made it clear that dumb baseball was unacceptable it might change, But he doesn’t. All he did yesterday was basically say in the same spot tomorrow, the same play would be acceptable. That’s the problem

Pen is going to be needed to get around 9 outs a night. If the opponents keep the game close, they can light up this pen as much as the Yanks could shut them down. And again, the goal is WINNING the WS. Can that pen get though 2 rounds and beat the Dodgers? I doubt it.
Very good win. We did learn, however, that they are really now playing two men short in the pen because it’s clear that they won’t go to Doval unless absolutely necessary.
