For more than two decades, the Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization (SAGE) has guided global immunization strategies, informed @WHO recommendations, ultimately protecting millions of lives thanks to the the power of safe and effective vaccines. At a time when misinformation on vaccines spreads faster than viruses and trust in institutions and science is being tested; independence, transparency, research and evidence are more important than ever. I thank the experts from around the world representing SAGE for lending their expertise, and @WHO looks forward to receiving and reviewing SAGE's latest policy recommendations this week.
