Nurse Honor Guard Saint Louis (NHGSTL) is a nonprofit organization that pays tribute at the funerals of nurses. Today they performed their first living tribute for a nurse who is a 99 year old WW2 veteran who has recently entered hospice care.

UPDATE: #5OnYourSide put in a call to Missouri American Water to ask about the sinkhole. We went to lunch, came back, and the hole was fixed. A spokesperson said they weren’t sure if a water main break or their repairs caused the hole but they would fix it anyway. @ksdknews – at Ferguson, MO

A water main break on December 27th was fixed, but the street only had a temporary patch. After almost 3 weeks of dealing with a dangerous hole in the street, causing several flat tires, a resident of Royal Ave. in Ferguson called Five On Your Side for help. Story at 5 on KSDK.

Route 66 Art Mural Trail Gets Underway. Artist Daniel Ricketts begins work on the Collinsville mural being painted on the side wall of the Bert’s Chuck Wagon building at Center and Main. Murals will be completed in 12 Route 66 communities this summer.
