After watching WSW’s goal disallowed by VAR I advocate getting rid of it and allowing the referee to use judgement and common sense. I was an advocate of VAR but didn’t anticipate it being used in such a negative way to rule out goals when players are not interfering with play.

Goals scored per match vary between 2 and 3 per game over a season, usually less than 3. Goals in Open Play are usually less than 2 per game and VAR does everything possible to look for a reason to disallow goals. If that isn’t bad for the game I don’t know what is.
